Ray Holme's ( Doug ) A real robust dynamic athletic Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
This dog loved high flying over the A-frame, I had first hand experiences handling Doug.
He had superb drive and determination, I've not seen many like him since.
Doug was bred by Ed Reid from Gypsy put to Rays IKC Gr Ch Dexter..

A fantastic producer of Old Time Athletic Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
Winner of many weight pulling competitions/ Conformation shows.
Dexter was a very dominate stud dog who could stamp his mark on any bloodline.
I was able to recognise a Stafford bred from Dexter 2 or 3 generations down from him,
they always displayed a certain type/ shape & make. They also tended to be very good weight pull dogs !!
