Ray Holme's ( Doug ) A real robust dynamic athletic Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This dog loved high flying over the A-frame, I had first hand experiences handling Doug. Owned and bred by the late Ray Holmes.. A fantastic producer of Old Time Athletic Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Winner of many weight pulling competitions/ Conformation shows. Dexter was a very dominate stud dog who could stamp his mark on any bloodline. I was able to recognise a Stafford bred from Dexter 2 or 3 generations down from him, they always displayed a certain type/ shape & make. They also tended to be very good weight pull dogs !!
